
About Tim Warren
Tim Warren is a Miami-based, national award-winning commercial director, filmmaker, and editor. He's also a proud father, a distinguished aficionado of all things tequila, and a thoroughly below-average tennis player.
Tim started off in the narrative world, directing award-winning short and feature films before deciding he wanted to make a dignified middle-class wage and focus on making branded mini-movies, known as "commercials." He received his MFA in Directing from the University of Miami and was the first graduate of the program to focus specifically on advertising work.
Stylistically, Tim infuses all of his work with a cinematic, narrative quality. He has a polished style that focuses on evocative imagery, a strong feel for tone and atmosphere, and technically difficult production and post-production choices that lend a sense of magic to each of his spots.
His portfolio includes work for Apple, AT&T, Celebrity Cruises, Club Med, Johnnie Walker, Hard Rock, Ultimate Software, and Visa, among many illustrious past clients.
When not behind the camera, he can be found palling around with his son Elliott, awkwardly nodding to the beat at live music shows, or huddled in the back of dark art-house theaters. Oh, and he makes a brutally, unflinchingly excellent French Onion dip.
